Creating Healthy Boundaries with Technology.

Let’s be honest — most of us spend way too much time on our phones.

And while social media and technology can be empowering tools, they can also drain our energy, disrupt our sleep, and hijack our peace of mind.

Protect your peace.

In today’s digital world, an engaging and well-curated online presence is important — but so is your mental and emotional well-being.

That’s why my wellness coaching practice goes beyond the expected.

A cornerstone of my approach to modern holistic health is developing boundaries with technology.

I call this “Digital Detox Coaching”.

Why?

Because real success isn’t just about how you show up online — it’s about how you feel offline. Among other things, excessive screen time, social media, news, stress & fear lower your energy. See Deion’s “Energy Takers vs. Energy Givers” image here.

Most of us are constantly bombarded by external factors that drain our energy and disrupt our balance. Not to mention internal factors — like negative thoughts on repeat.

With my Digital Detox Coaching, I’ll help you set healthy boundaries around technology and develop habits to restore your energy and focus.

⚜️ Develop strategies to limit social media use and boost mental clarity.

⚜️ Create intentional screen time habits that help you reclaim your time and energy.

⚜️ Practice technology boundaries to prevent digital burnout and encourage healthier work-life balance.

⚜️ Customized detox plans tailored to your specific needs—whether you’re a busy entrepreneur, artist, or parent.

Why Boundaries Matter

Social media is an essential tool for networking, visibility, and business growth. But it can also be a source of distraction, anxiety, and even addiction.

I’ve experienced all of this firsthand. As someone with two decades in 12-Step recovery programs, I know an addiction when I feel it — and Instagram is no joke.

The endless scrolling, the dopamine rush of notifications, the compulsion to stay constantly connected is real. Same with news, video games or whatever your drug of choice is.

Especially as a social media marketing professional, I’ve had to learn how to protect my energy and regulate my sensitive nervous system. That means taking frequent breaks, setting intentional limits, and staying aligned with what truly nourishes me.

The Science of Digital Addiction

Technology is engineered to keep us hooked. Every “like,” heart, or ping triggers a dopamine response — the same brain chemical activated by sugar, nicotine, and other addictive substances.

Unchecked screen time can:

⚜️ Lower your energy and vibration

⚜️ Disrupt your focus

⚜️ Impact your sleep

⚜️ Heighten anxiety

⚜️ Damage your self-esteem

⚜️ Distract real connection

⚜️ Steal precious time from real life

The Solution? Conscious Use.

I’ve learned to use social media as a tool — not a trap. And I help my clients do the same.

If you're feeling burned out, overstimulated, or just plain tired of the scroll, I can help you develop:

⚜️ Healthy tech habits
⚜️ Mindful screen-time routines
⚜️ Personalized digital detox strategies
⚜️ A more aligned, intentional social media presence

Curate Your Energy. Reclaim Your Time.

There’s no one-size-fits-all fix, but together we can craft a strategy that fits you.

Whether you’re a creative, an entrepreneur, a parent — or all three — I’ll help you reclaim your time, focus, and creativity, while still showing up with confidence online.

It’s not about unplugging entirely, it’s about elevating your relationship with social media and technology to reclaim your time, energy and freedom.

“As a busy entrepreneur, artist and single mother — there simply isn't enough time in the day to accomplish everything I need to. While I'm aware that excessive screen time drains my energy and affects my sleep, I feel trapped by it because as a parent and business owner I need to be available on my phone at all times.

I have been following Gina’s interest in the addictive nature of social media, smartphones and technology (and the importance of healthy boundaries around all this) for years. She invited me to a series of Digital Detox Coaching sessions, and I decided to give it a try.

What stood out immediately was how personalized and practical the approach was. Gina empathized with the unique pressures of running a business, nurturing creativity, and raising a family in a hyper-connected world. This wasn’t about unplugging completely — it was about creating smarter boundaries and reclaiming my focus, my energy, and my peace. She shared helpful tools, methods and tips to reduce screen time and excessive noise.

Within a few weeks, I was sleeping better, working more efficiently, and felt more present at work and home without the constant pull of phone calls and notifications. I even found time for myself and my creative practice again! For example, Gina encouraged me to put my phone on airplane mode for an hour after my son goes to sleep at night, and to use that time for painting, which is my favorite creative outlet. This has given me a break from being constantly “on call” and is helping me nurture myself, which also helps me show up better for others.

If you’re feeling burned out by your devices but don’t think you can step away — this coaching is for you. It’s a reset I didn’t know I could have, and I am so grateful for the tools and awareness that Gina has shared with me to reclaim valuable energy for myself and my family."
